THAT'S WHY THIS PRODUCT IS A "MUSEUM PIECE":
Since 1968 Congresso is the library, by definition: simple to use, sleek, versatile and always elegant, beacuse style improves with age.

MAIN CONCEPT OR THE DESIGNER'S REMARK SHOWING THE INNOVATIVE FEATURE OF THE PRODUCT:
Congresso is a perfect mix of elegance, sturdiness, flexibility and ease of placement in any context.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS BRIEFLY:
Congresso, the bookshelf designed by Lips Vago (now a Gunnebo company), brought modularity, elegance and style to the library area.
Winner of the Smau Industrial Design Award in 1968, Congresso is an oven-varnished steel sheet bookshelf, with shelves that can be placed on either or both sides; this allows placement of books, volumes and binders of different sizes and full use of the available space, be it small or large.
The possibility of shifting the shelves very gradually allows exceptional flexibility; their position can be changed so easily - no nuts and bolts, no assembly, just tilt, click and everything is in place, secure and sturdy - that the shelf can be varied at will without any effort.
