{"id":35811424,"date":"2014-12-19T16:50:16","date_gmt":"2014-12-19T15:50:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.arketipomagazine.it\/?p=35811424"},"modified":"2014-12-19T16:50:16","modified_gmt":"2014-12-19T15:50:16","slug":"italian-woodworking-machinery-upturn-on-the-horizon-for-the-italian-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.arketipomagazine.it\/en\/italian-woodworking-machinery-upturn-on-the-horizon-for-the-italian-market\/","title":{"rendered":"Italian woodworking machinery: upturn on the horizon for the Italian market"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Production<\/strong> has reached a level of \u20ac 1,545 million, with a slight increase over the previous year. <strong>Exports<\/strong>, despite being our industry&#8217;s strength, are down by 2 per cent, although this figure is still comforting if we think about the drop of 3.6% in the final figures for 2013 and 8% for 2012.<br \/>\n<strong>Imports <\/strong>\u00ad- which physiologically account for a little under a quarter for the Italian market &#8211; are levelling off at \u20ac 118 million, down by 17.5 per cent compared to 2013.<\/p><div id=\"arket-742454928\" class=\"arket-contenuto\" style=\"margin-top: 20px;margin-bottom: 20px;\"><div id=\"sas_67408\" align=\"center\"><\/div>\r\n<script type=\"application\/javascript\">\r\n    sas.cmd.push(function() {\r\n        sas.render(\"67408\");  \/\/ Formato : Injection 1x1 1x1\r\n    });\r\n<\/script><\/div>\n<p>Despite the considerable levels involved, the <strong>trade balance<\/strong> is steady and the Acimall Studies Office expects it to remain at around the same level as for 2013. The 9.1 percent growth in sales on the <strong>home market<\/strong> is encouraging (2.9 per cent in 2013) and is the result of government investment incentives (due, primarily, to the Sabatini Law).<\/p>\n<p>Trends in the various geographical areas will be a decisive factor; for next year the situation will be <strong>stable<\/strong> in the EU, Africa and China. Italian wood-processing technologies are likely to suffer a <strong>harsher<\/strong> fate in South America and Russia, due to their current political situation. After many years of stagnation,<strong>more optimistic forecasts<\/strong> are seen on the home front, and for North America and Asia in general.<\/p>\n<p><a
