No longer compliant with any building codes, it had to be fully rehabilitated and enhanced with an extension in order to provide what it lacked in its initial program. Standing at the intersection of three major axes and in close proximity to the campus tram station, it benefits from a highly strategic location.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arketipomagazine.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2020\/11\/77c72565-9767-4ac5-be7e-293fdeb6752d.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-35867939 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.arketipomagazine.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2020\/11\/77c72565-9767-4ac5-be7e-293fdeb6752d.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"625\" height=\"900\" srcset=\"https:\/\/static.tecnichenuove.it\/arketipomagazine\/2020\/11\/77c72565-9767-4ac5-be7e-293fdeb6752d.jpg 625w, https:\/\/static.tecnichenuove.it\/arketipomagazine\/2020\/11\/77c72565-9767-4ac5-be7e-293fdeb6752d-208x300.jpg 208w, https:\/\/static.tecnichenuove.it\/arketipomagazine\/2020\/11\/77c72565-9767-4ac5-be7e-293fdeb6752d-292x420.jpg 292w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 625px) 100vw, 625px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To enhance its status, the decision was made to take advantage of the rhythm of the existing structure of alternating raw concrete columns\/beams, screen walls and sunshades, to design an extension that literally blends into the initial construction, giving it a new lease on life and a beautiful architectural presence. Today it is virtually impossible to tell the old section of the building from the new one. All concrete elements were poured in place, including exterior and interior staircases.
