Riverbank Arena – Stanton Williams

Il centro sportivo è costituito da due campi da hockey. Il campo principale, destinato alle gare, ha una capacità di 16.000 posti; il campo da gioco secondario, dedicato esclusivamente al  riscaldamento, può ospitare 300 persone. Peculiarità dell'edificio sono i colori: è il primo impianto per l'hockey ad avere il campo da gioco blu e l'area circostante rosa, per distinguere meglio la palla gialla durante il gioco. Dopo le Olimpiadi, l'Hockey Centre verrà ridimensionato e trasferito a nord del Parco Olimpico assieme ad altre strutture per formare il centro ricreativo Eton Manor. Sarà dotato di 3.000 posti permanenti con la possibilità di incrementarne la capacità fino a 15.000 per gli eventi più importanti.

The sports centre has two hockey pitches. The main pitch, for the competitions, has a 16,000 seat capacity; the secondary pitch, mainly used for warm-up, can seat 300. One of the building's unusual features has to do with the colour: it is the first hockey facility to have a blue-coloured pitch surrounded by a red zone to facilitate better viewing of the yellow ball during play. After the Olympics, the Hockey Centre will be resized and transferred to the northern part of the Olympic Park together with other structures to create the Eton Manor Recreation Centre. The Centre will have 3,000 permanent seats, with the ability to increase capacity to 15,000 for larger events.
