Excelsior Milano – Atelier Jean Nouvel and Monica Armani

L'intervento ha trasformato due ex sale cinematografiche in un edificio multifunzione in cui trovano spazio due unità commerciali, un bar e un ristorante. Distribuito su sette piani realizzati con strutture metalliche, il volume interno è rivestito internamente con vernici riflettenti. L'involucro esterno è fasciato da installazioni video a LED che generano un effetto caleidoscopico.

The project has transformed two former cinema halls into a multipurpose building hosting two stores, a bar and a restaurant. Split across seven floors constructed with metal structures, the interiors are totally coated in reflective paints. The outer structure is enveloped in LED video installations to create a kaleidoscopic effect.
