Come lo scorso anno anche nella appena passata edizione del MADE expo ho aperto e chiuso i miei interventi di English for Architecture Focus con una sigla musicale. In apertura, le parole e il clip di un pezzo del gruppo belga dEUS dal titolo "The Architect" (testo completo). In chiusura invece un "particolare" video didattico americano che si presta all'apprendimento dell'inglese tecnico con una giusta dose di ironia e divertimento. Da apprezzare per la chiarezza del linguaggio, l'uso di termini specifici e la pronuncia. Il filmato vuole essere, oltre che una provocazione, una leva di marketing per promuovere dei prodotti di riparazione e finitura del cartongesso.

What is Design-Build Contract - It's a method of building in which both the design and construction are contracted and controlled from one source - the design-builder. This method allows for more organization because there's one point of accountability. Because of this, the client has more say in the project.
