Eton Dorney

Il centro sportivo Eton, situato presso il lago Dorney, ospiterà le gare di kayak e canottaggio. La struttura è costruita su un bacino fluviale esistente e comprende un'area per il riscaldamento e lo spazio per le gare, con una nuova corsia. Sono stati costruiti anche due ponti per collegare l'isola  principale rispettivamente ai blocchi di arrivo e di partenza del bacino. Il centro sarà in grado di ospitare fino a 30.000 spettatori al giorno e oltre 3.500 tra dipendenti e volontari.

The Eton Sports Centre on Dorney Lake will host the kayaking and canoeing competitions. The structure is built on an existing river basin; it includes a warm-up area and a new lane. Two bridges have also been built to connect the main island to the arrival and departure sections of the basin. The Centre will be able to host up to 30,000 spectators per day as well as the more than 3,500 employees and volunteers.
